WOODS ANNOUNCES NEW HAMPSHIRE WOMEN’S NOMINATIONS

Here are the women from New Hampshire I’d like to nominate from New Hampshire to attend the Women’s Summit in Washington, DC on June 25th.

They are all being nominated because I’ve identified them as outstanding Republican activists
who are all talented and qualified to take a leadership role in our party in our state. I’m extremely excited that they all expressed an interest and a willingness to participate in the Women’s Summit. I think Co-Chairman Larimer will be very pleased with the quality of Republican women we are bringing to the table to represent New Hampshire. I hope to join them there myself.

Sixty Second Updates – take a look at this!

Dear Fellow RNC Members,

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know about an amazing new way to answer those who say that the Republican party has no leaders or ideas.

The House Conference Chairman, Congressman Mike Pence is helping launch an effort to answer the mainstream media’s effort to act as if there are no alternatives being offered to the big government solutions proposed by this President.

The 60 Second Update Series will feature rising stars from the Congress, the Senate, and Governorships, along with leading policy experts, authors, and activist groups in an easy to read, time-saving format.

Sixty Second Updates
has interviews, articles, issue-oriented news feeds and free downloadable chapters; so you can get as much or as little information as you need on the issues that interest you most.

You can sign up for free updates and read the latest issues with Congressman Pence, Newt Gingrich, Grover Norquist, Ilan Berman, & Charles Murray at:

If you like what you see, I hope you’ll reach out to your Congressmen, Senators, and Governors to suggest that they join this effort to help bring their sensible, free-market solutions to more like-minded Americans.

And to learn more about the series, here’s a link to a special message from Congressman Pence: http://60secondupdates.com/the-60-second-leadership-series

I’m looking forward to seeing you all next week in D.C. and hearing your feedback on this great new tool.

Sincerely,

Phyllis Woods

Woods to Lead Statewide Effort
Press Release of February 10, 2008

Former State Representative and newly elected Republican National Committeewoman, Phyllis Woods of Dover, has been asked by Jo Ann Davidson, RNC Co-Chair to head up the NH Women’s Coalition, “The Pink Elephants.” This program is a continuation of the highly successful ‘W’ Stands for Women’s Coalition of the 2004 election.

This is a major effort to expand the number of Republican women affiliated with the coalition and the goal is to recruit over 70,000 new women throughout the country to be a part of “The Pink Elephants.” The goal is to double the number of women who are members of the coalition.

In naming Woods as Chair, Ms. Davidson said, “We know that in the 2004 presidential election, eight million more women voted than men.” “Women voters will make a significant difference in the outcome of the presidential election and we must be prepared with a state-by-state group of strong, energized Republican women ready to help our nominee.”

As a member of the Republican National Committee, Woods has also been appointed to the Committee on Arrangements and the Program Committee which are involved in planning and organizing the Republican National Convention in September in Minneapolis – St. Paul, MN.

Woods, who is also currently serving as Chairman of the Strafford County Republican Committee, will be naming several women throughout the state who will assist her in this effort to compile names and contact information of Republican women in order to keep them up to date on the issues so they can help carry the Republican message. They will be available to work on coordinating events, recruiting women for deployment efforts, volunteering at the Republican National Convention and providing leadership in voter registration and identification efforts as well as the highly successful 72-Hour GOTV program.
